Benekczy Atelier is an exceptional spot on the map of Old Podgórze characterized by special ambience. It is the spot created by Mr Łukasz Wiciarz, full of the artist’s passion, broad knowledge and extraordinary talent for creating wonders from wood.
Since 2003 he has created unique sculptures which are marked with his passion. What draws special attention in his exceptional studio are chess. Each figure is handmade with the use of his favourite set of chisels completed for years. Sharp professional tools, strength and precision – this is what is fundamental in this profession.
Passion may be cultivated and developed endlessly … This is the case of Mr Jacek Zellek, who is in love with Krakow and who started his adventure with art from classical photography. With the years his studio has changed. He spent more time working on post-production, and from here it just one step to artistic graphic design!
Currently Jacek is perfecting his techniques and broadening the themes of his creative work, mainly with portraits and generic scenes. He has also found joy of creating handcraft! He combines this with his love for graphic design creating souvenirs in the form of exceptional magnets which you can also find at The Bridge Suites Hotel.
Porcelain manufactory – where traditional material encounters modern design. The porcelain manufactory is an unusual spot in Podgórze where time is measured by the potter’s wheel rotations and days and nights are counted from one baking to another. It is just here that a likeable passionate team including Liliana, Basia, Michał and their faithful assistants create unique porcelain which perfectly fits in modern interiors.
The offer includes extraordinary jewellery and dishes. What draws special attention are mugs and cups – they are really special as coffee tastes even better when drunk from them! In this open studio each lover of unique objects will find something for themselves. You can also admire and purchase at our facility the magnificent mugs made at the Porcelain Manufactory.
This sweet history which began in 1998 in Krakow suburbs has lasted till today. It started with just one beehive in a home garden, which was the gradually transferred into a magnificent Szeligów Apiary owing to the passion and love of the owners for bees.
It is just there in 150 wooden multi-corpus hives that the laborious bees gather their nectar.
